The lightning strike killed a shepherd and some 1500 sheep in the Kostanay region of Kazakhstan on July 7, the press secretary of Kostanay police department Irina Bejenar said.
The lightning caused a fire that killed the shepherd and sheep. Rescuers are working at the scene, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported.
