Lukashenko: barriers in EEU still persist

Belarusian President Aleksander Lukashenko believes that many barriers impeding trade and economic cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union member states have not been removed yet.

"There is an array of disagreements behind the scenes," he said at the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the Belarus President. 

"We have not managed to remove the barriers we were supposed to remove while establishing the EEU," he noted.

"We will not withdraw from the EEU. We will keep fighting. There is no escaping it," BelTA cited as saying.
