Yesterday, the capital of Ingushetia, Magas, hosted the Ramadan Tent Republican Iftar at the site of the mosque under construction. More than 500 residents of the republic took part in the event, the press service of the head of the region reported.
“In our republic and far beyond its borders, such events have become traditional. The Ramadan Tent has already become the embodiment of a true Muslim hospitality: every guest here is welcomed. More than 500 people came to share the first meal after fast - clergymen, residents of the capital, elders, children. For them, Iftat is a real holiday,” TASS quotes the head of the region, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, as saying.
