Turkish police have detained 59 people suspected of being linked to Daesh, the Sabah newspaper reports with reference to a source in the law enforcement agencies.
Earlier, Turkish media reported about the arrest of 16 alleged Daesh members in Ankara.
As Vestnik Kavkaza reported, an explosion occurred at Sultanahmet Square in the center of Istanbul, when a group of German tourists was passing by. According to the authorities, at least 11 people were killed and 15 were injured.
