Last night an earthquake with a magnitude of about 3 points hit the Maysky district in Kabardino-Balkaria at 21:17.
Some residents could feel the earthquake, no damage has been reported, the spokesman of the North Caucasus Regional Center of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies, Kantemir Davydov, said.
The epicenter of the quake was located 6 km under the surface, about 40-50 km from the town of Maysky, Interfax-South reports.
