Today, the Parliament of Georgia in Tbilisi hosts meeting of PACE`s committee of Migration, Refugees and Internally displaced persons.
The theme of the meeting is 'Migration challenges in the South Caucasus and the region'. The Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Zviad Dzidziguri, the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia, Sozar Subari, and the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality, Paata Zakareishvili, delivered welcome speeches.
The LINKS executive director Dennis Sammut, a temporary representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in the South Caucasus, Hy Shelow, and the Deputy Public Defender Natia Katsitadze will also address the meeting.
The meeting will be finished on March 22.
