According to the Minister of Health of Saudi Arabia, Khaled al-Faleh, a crowd crush in the valley of Mina near Mecca occurred due to non-compliance of rules by some pilgrims.
"If pilgrims had followed the instructions for participants of the pilgrimage we would have avoided this tragedy,’’ Tass cites the Minister.
Al-Faleh underlined that he believes that the majority of pilgrims decided to participate in the common prayer without checking the schedule and the time that had been given before the beginning.
