The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, will arrive in Armenia today. She will visit the republic within the framework of a series of visits to the Eastern Partnership member states, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry said.
"During her visit, Mogherini will hold talks with President Serzh Sargsyan and Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian," RIA Novosti cited the press service as saying.
According to the Yerevan office of the EU delegation, the European Commissioner also plans to hold meetings with representatives of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, other parliamentary parties, as well as representatives of civil society.
"It is assumed that Mogherini and Nalbandian will give a joint press conference in the presidential residence," the office staff added.
