Mohammad Ibrahim Taherian becomes Iranian ambassador to Turkey

Mohammad Ebrahim Taherian has been appointed Iran’s new ambassador to Turkey.

He assumed the duties of the ambassador to Ankara today, the Turkish newspaper Milliyet reports.

The diplomat will present his credentials to Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the coming days.
