A monument to Russian writer Fazil Iskander, who died a year ago, was unveiled at Novodevichy Cemetery in Moscow.
The monument was based on the 1966 sculpture by Kazakh sculptor Marina Eshba, TASS reported.
Fazil Iskander died on July 31, 2016 in his country house in Peredelkino, aged 87.
