At least 22 PKK terrorists have been killed in military operations in eastern Turkey, the country's Interior Ministry said in a statement.
The ministry said 17 terrorists were killed in the Semdinli district of southeastern Hakkari province while five others were killed in the Nazimiye district of eastern Tunceli province.
Meanwhile, the Turkish army said those killed in Semdinli district were killed while trying to escape to northern Iraq, the Anadolu agency reported.
