Russia is ready for a dialogue with the United States on ways to normalize the work of diplomatic missions. This statement was made by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov.
He focused on the fact that Moscow did not refuse to talk with Washington, but, on the contrary, the country is interested in it.
A month and a half ago, it became known that the Russian Federation and the United States were going to hold a new round of consultations on the normalization of the work of embassies. The previous round was hosted by Türkiye last year.
Let us remind you that at the end of February, Russia temporarily suspended its participation in the START Treaty, which had been in force since 2010.
