The commissioning of new production facilities is solving the problem of the self-sufficiency of the Russian economy, the State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin said.
"Of course, we must continually improve our self-reliance and self-sufficiency, stop depending on others, produce quality products, providing our own market and entering foreign markets," he said.
According to the speaker of the State Duma, the opening of a new modern high-tech enterprise is a great event. "The construction of this plant is particularly important during these difficult times, when the Russian economy is affected by several unfavorable factors: the global economic crisis, the unstable situation in the world energy markets and other commodities, and sanctions against our country," TASS cited him as saying.
Naryshkin also noted that the Russian economy has everything needed for the development of the domestic economy. "It is rich in natural resources, a talented and educated population and competitive professional staff. And the desire to work hard to strengthen our country," he said.
