The official opening of the National Defense Research University (NDRU) of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia was held in Yerevan today.
The event was attended by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and representatives of the command staff of Armenia’s armed forces.
The university was established on the basis of the Institute for National Strategic Studies, the rector of which, Major General Hayk Kotanjian, presented the capacity of this new education.
Young promising specialists trained abroad are engaged in the activities of the university, Kotanjian said.
