First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev offered to launch a dialogue mechanism of partnership between the EU and the Eurasian Economic Union.
"I think it's absolutely unacceptable when there is no a comprehensive dialogue between the EU and the EEU. These two unions are linked with each other both geographically and historically. The current political divisions should not separate us," Nazarbayev noted, speaking at the Astana Club forum
Therefore, the former head of state suggests to launch an interactive mechanism of partnership between the EU and the EEU.
The first Kazakh President said he is ready to provide support in this process.
"A pragmatic cooperation between the EEU, the EU, SCO, ASEAN, one Belt — One Way initiative could give a powerful impulse in formation of the Greater Eurasia," AKIpress cited Nazarbayev as saying.
