Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with the Senior Minister of Singaporean Parliament Goh Chok Tong, the press service of Akorda reports.
Nazarbayev praised Singapore's experience in innovation, technology and financial sectors.
"Throughout 25 years of Kazakhstan's independence, we maintain close relationship with Singapore and your country has always been special for us," AKIpress cited Nazarbayev as saying.
"Despite the fact that Singapore is a city-state, it is an example of effective development model for many countries in the world. Our ways of building statehood are very similar, and therefore we always have your experience in mind while developing and implementing various programs and strategies," he said.
Goh Chok Tong thanked Nazarbayev for warm welcome and invitation to Kazakhstan.
Both of them expressed confidence in further strengthening of bilateral relations as the meeting came to an end.
