Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev held a meeting with Tatarstan’s President Rustam Minnikhanov in Astana.
They discussed cultural cooperation between Astana and Kazan. Nazarbayev noted good relations between Russia and Tatarstan.
Minnikhanov, in turn, congratulates Kazakhstan on EXPO 2017 opening.
They also discussed implementation of infrastructure projects within the framework of the Western China - Western Europe international transit corridor and boosting Kazakhstan-Tatarstan transit and transport potential.
At the end of the meeting, Minnikhanov presented the Order 'For Services to the Republic of Tatarstan' to Nazarbayev.
