Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with the leaders of Chinese financial and industrial companies to discuss issues of expansion of cooperation.
Nazarbayev met with the chairman of the board of directors of CITIC Group Corporation, Chang Zhenming, they discussed the implementation of joint investment projects and the company's participation in the infrastructural development of Kazakhstan.
During a meeting with the chairman of the Tsinghua Corporation, Huo Qinghua, the sides discussed the increasing participation of the corporation in the coal industry of Kazakhstan.
"Your company will carry out complex processing of coal in Kazakhstan. Given its vast reserves, it is important for our energy mix," TASS cited the Kazakh leader as saying.
