Nazarbayev proposes solution for Syrian crisis

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, speaking about his vision of settlement of the conflict in Syria, urged the international community to unite under the aegis of the UN.

"Unfortunately, each of the states involved in the settlement of the Syrian crisis, protects ts interests, and the terrorists are using it for their own purposes," Nazarbayev complained.

"The whole international community should unite under the auspices of the UN to speak out against terrorism and solve the problem of Syria," Interfax cited him as saying.

"I believe that there is no other way," the Kazakh President noted.

Nazarbayev stressed that terrorism poses a threat to all the countries. "If all the countries unite, we can defeat this evil," he added.
