The Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline construction operator Nord Stream-2 AG welcomes the creation in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern the Climate and Environmental Protection Foundation that will protect the interests of the project participants.
"The Foundation will contribute to the achievement of Germany's climatic goals, and also, within the framework of temporary operational activity, will support the completion of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline to ensure reliable supplies of natural gas," the TASS cites the report of the company.
