Artillery training, which involves more than 1.5 thousand artillerists, was started in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District in Ingushetia, Chechnya, Dagestan and North Ossetia, the press service of the Southern Military District, said.
"Within two weeks, the crews of the self-propelled 2S3 Akatsiya, Msta-S and Msta-B, the truck-mounted multiple rocket launchers Grad, Tornado-G and Uragan, anti-tank missile systems Shturm-S, 120mm mortars Podnos and Sany will train the skills of fire on single and multiple targets with new weapons," RIA Novosti cited the press service as saying.
