Representatives of 14 countries, including Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak, confirmed their participation in the 13th meeting of the Joint OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Monitoring Committee in Baku, according to the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry's press service.
On March 17-18, Baku will host the 27th Joint Technical Committee meeting and the 13th meeting of the Joint OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Monitoring Committee.
The meetings will be attended by OPEC Secretary General Mohammed Barkindo, OPEC President, President of Venezuelan state-run oil company PDVSA, Venezuelan Oil Minister Manuel Quevedo, Chairman of JMMC, Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia, Chairman of Saudi Aramco's Board of Directors Khalid Al Falih, as well as energy ministers of Algeria, UAE, Kuwait, Iraq, Nigeria.
"From non-OPEC countries, the participation of energy ministers of Russia, Kazakhstan, Sudan is planned," TASS cited the press service as saying. High-ranking representatives of Bahrain, Brunei, Libya and Congo will also participate in the meetings.
