The head of the Russian Ministry of Energy, co-chair of the intergovernmental Russian-Iranian commission, Alexander Novak, may visit Tehran in early March, RIA Novosti reports with reference to a source familiar with the situation.
The ministry has not confirmed the information about Novak’s visit yet.
Iran's Deputy Petroleum Minister Masoud Hashemian Esfahani said that the country is preparing for the visit.
Earlier it was reported that the head of the Ministry of Energy may visit Tehran in late February.
