OPEC countries are going to discuss the consequences of the possible return of Iran to the world oil market at the forthcoming meeting on December 4th, the head of the Ministry of Oil of Iraq Adil Abd al-Mahdi reported.
The Minister noted that this issue was one of the themes of his recent talks with his Iranian counterpart Bijan Namdar Zanganeh. "We discussed everything, including OPEC. The decision on the next meeting is not yet known. We will meet in the composition of OPEC and discuss everything in detail," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
"We know about the difficulties, about the situation, especially now, when sanctions will be lifted from Iran, the amount of supplied oil will change. We also look at other factors, economic, which will affect the market," the head of the Oil Ministry of Iraq added.
