OPEC has published a report which predicts that Azerbaijan will continue the trend of oil production decline.
In 2020 it will amount to 0.7 million barrels a day and 0.6 million barrels a day by 2014. The cartel believes that the level of production in Azerbaijan will turn out to be 0.9 million barrels a day in 2015.
The main place of extraction of Azeri oil is the block of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli offshore fields (ACG). Azeri Light oil is extracted there with a sulfur content of 0.15% (35 degrees API), Trend reports.
