OSCE Chairman Miroslav Lajcak commented on the meeting between Georgian and Russian Foreign Ministers David Zalkaliani and Sergey Lavrov which was held on the sidelines of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York yesterday.
He described the meeting as important.
"Today’s meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Georgia and Russia, facilitated by Swiss mediators, is important: It shows there is hope that constructive dialogue can decrease tensions and strengthen stability to the benefit of all people in the OSCE region," Lajcak wrote on Twitter.
