The well-known Russian theater and film actress, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Olga Kabo told the correspondent Vestnik Kavkaza about her visit to Baku in August 2015 with her daughter.
"It was an extraordinary trip. My daughter just turned 17, and I decided to give her a wonderful trip as a birthday present. I thought that she would go to Europe herself, but getting acquainted with our countries is a long and satisfying thing to do. Therefore, we started with Azerbaijan," Olga Kabo explained her decision.
"We have very good friends in Azerbaijan, we visited them. They shown us all the important and holy places Baku and beyond - we had a wonderful guide who talked about the city with great warmth and pleasure," the Russian actress said.
"Of course, we tasted Azerbaijani national food, listened to Azerbaijani national music. For me, this trip to Baku was a great escape. And if at first my daughter didn’t want any excursions, then after the first walk with the guide she said: "Mom, I want more," and it was the greatest gratitude for me," she admitted.
Olga Kabo added that the trip to Baku has started a great family tradition to travel to the best places in Russia and the post-Soviet space. "I have many friends, I travel to our former Soviet republics a lot, and I am always greeted as a dear guest. These are nice memories," the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation concluded.
