The wave of optimization has reached Armenia’s provincial administrations, according to media reports.
The Zhamanak newspaper writes that the republic's government decided to carry out job cuts not only among mid-ranking officers, but also among vice-governors.
The newspaper makes an allusion to the epoch of Robert Kocharyan’s rule, when the number of vice-governors had been significantly increased to provide loyal persons with governing positions, ARKA reported.
