Over 400 Azerbaijani families to return to Karabakh by end of year

Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand Districts, Emin Huseynov spoke about Azerbaijan's restoration efforts in the liberated territories at the event titled "New Opportunities for Entrepreneurs: Let’s Revive Karabakh Together" in Shusha.

"Today we stand on the threshold of great changes and the restoration of our historical lands. Karabakh, after many years of occupation, is once again becoming part of our common home. We see Fuzuli, Aghdam, and many other areas gradually returning to life. People are returning to their homes, and the and the construction of schools and other public facilities begins," Huseynov said.

According to him, a total of 53 families are planned to be relocated to Khojavand by the end of this year.

Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Khankendi city, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts, Elchin Yusubov said that it is planned to resettle 228 families in Khojaly City, Karkijahan, Malibeyli village, and Umudlu village of Aghdara district by the end of 2024.

Moreover, 190 families are planned to be resettled in Sugovushan village in the Aghdara district, he added.

“In subsequent years, this number will be increased many times over. Besides, 20 families have already been resettled in the Aghdara district's Talish village. The settlement of the liberated territories is being carried out at an accelerated pace,” Yusubov said.
