The situation that has arisen as a result of the Turkish army's operation in Syria's Afrin will be discussed at the urgent debate at the PACE January session, the new chairman of the assembly Michele Nicoletti said.
"There was a proposal to hold debates in connection with Turkey's military operation in Syria. This debate will be held on Wednesday (January 24) in the afternoon," TASS cited Nicoletti as saying.
The PACE speaker said that another extraordinary discussion will be devoted to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. There were no objections from the MPs for both proposals.
