Pakistan has decided to send military personnel to Qatar after a similar decision was made by Turkey, Pakistani media outlets reported.
Pakistan is expected to send more than 20,000 soldiers to Qatar.
This decision was made under the military agreements signed by Pakistan and Turkey.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan late on June 8 ratified two deals on deploying Turkish troops in Qatar and training the Gulf nation’s gendarmerie forces. The Turkish parliament earlier ratified the agreements on June 7, Hurriyet daily reported.
