Traffic along the Georgian Military Road was reopened for cars, the press service of the State Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia said.
"From 15:30 travel is prohibited for heavy vehicles and buses with a capacity of more than 30 seats," Interfax cited the ministry as saying.
The movement was temporarily prohibited due to a worsening of weather conditions. During this time 95 cars have gathered at the Russian-Georgian border.
