Russian figure skater, Sofya Titova, will change her Russian citizenship and will compete under the Armenian flag, Match TV reports.
According to the TV channel, the athlete received permission from the Russian Figure Skating Federation to change her Russian sports citizenship to Armenian one.
At the same time, the Armenian Figure Skating Federation stated that no one had contacted them on this issue. The information is currently being clarified jointly with Moscow.
Titova is a student of Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko. In 2021, she won bronze at the Moscow Open Championship.
