Pushkov: PACE needs to temporarily forget about Russia

PACE has to temporarily forget about Russia, the head of the Russian State Duma Committee for Foreign Affairs, Alexei Pushkov, said.

"In our absence, PACE has no levers of influence on us," he said, advising the organization to address the Ukrainian issue, as well as the issues of refugees and attacks on women in EU countries.

In addition, Pushkov commented on the words of the chairwoman of the Assembly, Anne Brasseur, who criticized European countries for their refusal to accept refugees, emphasizing that the adequacy of the organization's estimates remains at the same level as before.
