Pushkov: Russia's return to PACE possible only after Duma elections

The return of the Russian Federation to the PACE in 2016 is possible only after the State Duma elections in September, the head of the Russian State Duma Committee for Foreign Affairs Alexei Pushkov said.

"So there is a theoretical possibility of a return in 2016," Pushkov noted. "However, I think that until conditions for the Russian delegation's full return are created, we must refrain from work in the organization," TASS cited the head of the Russian State Duma Committee for Foreign Affairs as saying.

Vestnik Kavkaza previously reported that the Russian delegation has decided not to participate in the January session of the PACE.
