The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) lost credibility after its hacked database revealed that US athletes had been allowed to use prohibited substances, the Foreign Affairs Committee chairman in the lower house of the Russian parliament, Alexei Pushkov, said.
"After it was revealed that WADA had allowed US athletes to use banned substances, the organization cannot be trusted anymore," Sputnik cited him as saying.
Earlier in the day, hacking group Fancy Bear leaked alleged WADA documents claiming that the agency had allowed US tennis players Serena and Venus Williams, as well as gymnast Simone Biles, to take banned substances in various years for therapeutic purposes.
