Presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan, Vladimir Putin and Nursultan Nazarbayev, will discuss the development of cooperation in the energy sector and other issues today during a bilateral meeting in Ufa.
"A special focus of the meeting will be devoted to energy issues. They will also touch on the development of humanitarian contacts, the cooperation of Russia and Kazakhstan in other areas," TASS cited Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov as saying.
Putin also will award a colleague, who has recently celebrated his 75th birthday, with the Alexander Nevsky Order.
