Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved a new Russian government after the resignation of the previous cabinet last week.
"The new government is a well-balanced one, although it went through a major reshuffle," Putin said during a meeting with the new cabinet.
Putin also wished success to the new ministers and expressed confidence that they will do everything in their powers to fulfill the assigned tasks. After that Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin held the first government session.
