Russian President Vladimir Putin started talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The meeting takes place in Paris before the next round of negotiations of 'Normandy Quartet'.
Earlier, the Russian leader also held a closed meeting with French President Francois Hollande, RIA Novosti reports.
Today the leaders of Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France will discuss the issue of holding elections in Donbass, the withdrawal of troops from the contact line and access of OSCE observers.
