The Emir of Qatar, Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, will visit Russia on his first official visit on January 17-19 at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The heads of state will hold talks in the Kremlin on January 18th. Priority will be given to the development of bilateral cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, energy and humanitarian spheres.
In addition, a detailed exchange of views is expected on topical international issues, especially the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, the press service of the Kremlin reports.
