Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko this week in Kazakhstan, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"He and Lukashenko will meet at the end of the week in Kazakhstan," Gazeta.ru cited him as saying.
Earlier, Alexander Lukashenko declared his intention to discuss with Putin the possible establishment of a Russian air base on the territory of Belarus.
