Three people were killed and five were hospitalized as a result of a road accident at the Kutaisi-Samtredia road in western Georgia.
The Georgian rugby union player Merab Kvirikashvili and Tbilisi's Lelo player Giorgi Lominadze are among injured.
All the injured were taken to nearby hospitals in Kutaisi and Samtredia, Rustavi 2 reports.
