The Russian government is not going create a structure that would fulfill the functions of Rosselkhoznadzor and Rospotrebnadzor.
A corresponding explanation was issued by Rosselkhoznadzor, thus denying reports published today in the media.
"Information about the use of modern methods of the control of safety of raw materials and finished food products according to the principle 'from field to table' for the improvement of the efficiency of work of the control and oversight services unit," the assistant of the head of Rosselkhoznadzor, Alexey Alekseenko, said in an interview with the press, "has been interpreted not entierly correctly," TASS cited the message of Rosselkhoznadzor.
