US Secretary of State John Kerry said that the US and Russian militaries are discussing prospects for further consultations on Syria.
According to him, the talks were held yesterday, a proposal was sent and now the sides are working on the next meeting. "The meeting will happen, I am confident," RIA Novosti cited Kerry as saying.
In addition, the US Secretary of State noted that Russia must not be engaged in any activities against anybody but the Islamic State militants.
"Russia has made it clear that it is obvious," Kerry concluded.
