Russia's Defense Ministry procures new S-400 regiment set

Russia's Defense Ministry procured the second regiment set of S-400 Triumf air defense missile systems of this year, the press service of the defense conglomerate Almaz-Antei said.

The delivery ceremony was held at the Kapustin Yar practice range in the Astrakhan region. "The acceptance tests have passed successfully," the statement reads.

Russia's anti-missile system S-400 has a large and medium-range new generation air defense missile system. It is designed for highly effective protection against air strikes, strategic cruise, tactical and operational-tactical ballistic missiles and ballistic medium-range missiles in combat and electronic countermeasures.
