Russia's Deputy Minister for North Caucasus Affairs Andrey Reznikov dies

Russia's Deputy Minister for North Caucasus Affairs, the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Joint-Stock Company Northern Caucasus Resorts, Andrey Reznikov, passed away today at the age of 49 in Moscow after a long illness, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Transport said.

Reznikov was born on November 26, 1968 in Norilsk, in 1992 he graduated from the Saratov Polytechnic Institute. In 2000 he graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation.

In 2013-2014 he held the post of Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Minister of Energy and Housing of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, TASS reported.

Reznikov was appointed Deputy Minister for North Caucasus Affairs on July 9, 2014. On July 10, 2015, he became chairman of the Board of Directors of the Joint-Stock Company Northern Caucasus Resorts. On November 9, 2016, he was included in the presidential reserve of management personnel. He was one of the authors of the brand 'Made in Caucasus'.

The farewell ceremony will be held at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow on August 11.
