Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will visit Ankara on August 13-14 and discuss the situation in Syria with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu, the Russian Foreign Ministry's spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
"Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will visit Turkey on August 13-14 at the invitation of the country’s Foreign Minister," she said. "He will take part in a conference of Turkish ambassadors and permanent representatives at international organizations."
Zakharova noted that the agenda of Lavrov's visit includes the speech at the conference and the talks with Cavusoglu, the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reported.
