The Russian National Guard has launched first ever snap combat readiness inspections in its history.
The first inspection will take place at the Central Federal District and will follow in Russia's seven other federal districts.
"The sudden readiness check is being held from March 13, 2017, at the decision of the director of the Federal National Guard Troops Service… Army Gen. Viktor Zolotov," Sputnik cited the National Guard as saying.
