Russian President Vladimir Putin and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will consider the prospects of bilateral cooperation at a meeting in Sochi on May 6, the press service of the Kremlin said.
"The upcoming talks will be focused on the current state and the prospects of development of bilateral cooperation in trade and economy as well as in the humanitarian field," TASS cited the message as saying.
Putin and Abe will also exchange views on important international issues.
