This year, the servicemen of the Russian Airborne Troops will begin to learn skydiving with the help of 3D-technologies, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense reported.
The airborne servicemen will be engaged in a special training facility ’STF Airborne’ using three-dimensional imaging technology, the message reads.
The actions of the paratroopers undergoing training on this simulator will be monitored by more than a dozen electronic sensors, and the special 3D-glasses will allow the military to feel as in the air.
